CostAware: Inpatient Services

This CostAware report shows the average cost of IP procedures in Delaware by hospital, insurance type, and year. IP procedures include vaginal and cesarean births, normal newborns, and cardiac procedures such as percutaneous coronary intervention and heart failure treatment. The CostAware initiative, sponsored by the Delaware Health Care Commission and Department of Health & Social Services, compares cost and quality across Delaware hospitals, Accountable Care Organizations, outpatient facilities, and office settings to help consumers make more informed choices when seeking care.
