New role will shape DHIN’s external growth strategy and expand its service offerings
DOVER, Del. (August 3, 2026) – Delaware Health Information Network (DHIN), the nation’s first statewide Health Information Exchange (HIE), created a new executive-level position, Chief Growth Officer (CGO), to lead the organization’s next phase of growth. The position reflects DHIN’s evolution beyond a traditional health information exchange toward a broader pursuit: expanding its role across the healthcare ecosystem, advancing its analytics capabilities, and increasing the value it brings to Delaware.
DHIN named Mike Lewis as the newly appointed CGO. In this role, Lewis will expand DHIN’s service offerings, strengthen its position as a trusted, neutral partner and bring stakeholders together to help build healthier communities.
Lewis has over 15 years’ experience helping healthcare organizations leverage data to improve quality, patient outcomes and value-based (VBC) performance. He joins DHIN from Healthmonix, a healthcare analytics company, where he most recently served as Vice President of Customer Success and Sales. Throughout his career, he’s led organization-wide initiatives focused on growth, customer success, strategic partnership and operational transformation across the healthcare industry.
We are thrilled to welcome Mike to DHIN’s executive leadership team. His experience helping healthcare organizations leverage data to improve outcomes, combined with his proven ability to grow business lines, strengthen customer success and build strategic partnerships makes him the right leader to help expand DHIN’s impact across Delaware and the region.
Dr. Jan Lee, Chief Executive Officer of DHIN
I’ve spent my career helping healthcare organizations use data to improve care, strengthen collaboration, and create better outcomes for patients. Joining DHIN is an incredible opportunity because of its trusted role across Delaware’s healthcare ecosystem. I’m excited to work alongside our partners to expand the value DHIN delivers and help shape the next chapter of connected data-driven healthcare for Delaware.
Mike Lewis, Chief Growth Officer of DHIN
Lewis earned a Bachelor of Science in marketing from Rutgers University and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Drexel University’s LeBow College of Business.
About DHIN
Delaware Health Information Network (DHIN) is the first live, statewide health information exchange in the nation. Launched in 2007, today it serves all of Delaware’s acute care hospitals and nearly 100% of the state’s medical providers. More than 18 million clinical results and messages are processed through DHIN each year for over three million unique patients. DHIN shares real-time clinical information to improve patient outcomes, eliminate the duplication of services and reduce the cost of healthcare.
In addition to its role as Delaware’s health information exchange, DHIN also powers the state’s Health Care Claims Database (HCCD). The database collects healthcare claims, enrollment and provider data from Medicare, Medicaid and the seven largest commercial health insurers in the State of Delaware, making it the single largest repository of claims data Delaware has ever had.
