Why We Charge a Subscription Fee
Since our founding, DHIN has consistently worked to keep solutions affordable while delivering secure, reliable access to patient information. As DHIN continues to grow, so do the costs of maintaining a secure and modern network. Since we no longer receive state-related financial support, we rely on subscriptions to keep this valuable network running and advance our technology.

$500/year
Subscription pricing
Practices pay a flat annual fee of $500. Included in the package are a suite of solutions that can help you improve patient care and reduce administrative tasks.
Community Health Record
Offers a central point to search and download clinical results, patient demographics and insurance information for more than 3 million patients.

Learn more*Pricing is for organizations that have signed off with DHIN. Practices that receive results from DHIN and have not signed off with DHIN as the preferred method for results delivery pay a $400 annual surcharge fee in addition to the $500 annual subscription fee.
**Accounts will be credited $200 once DHIN certifies the care summary feed and the practice is actively sending care summaries to DHIN. Unless otherwise specified, all other costs associated with establishing and certifying the feed of care summaries to DHIN (e.g., EMR vendor fees) are the responsibility of the practice. Some solutions may require coordination and support with other suppliers (e.g., your EMR vendor), which may require additional time and resources to enable. The practice or health system activating the requested solution is responsible for all additional costs applied by other suppliers.
Billing
Practices are billed annually, and the subscription fee is applied upon the anniversary of your account. Practices that submit care summaries to the network will receive a $200 discount on their annual DHIN fees. Making information available to other care providers provides value to the network and supports better care for everyone.
Please note: Practices that are affiliated with a hospital system, as well as the Department of Public Health and other large organizations that currently contribute financial and data resources to DHIN, are not subject to this business model.
Medical-History Solutions
Standard Medication History
Included with the DHIN Practice Bundle, Standard Medication History pulls medications from patient CCDs and displays them in the CHR medication history card, giving providers a quick and convenient view of patient medications.
Premium Medication History
For more comprehensive tracking, Premium Medication History allows providers to query the Surescripts database and view up to 12 months of filled prescriptions. This solution is available for $330 per provider per year, or $5,500 per 100 beds per year for acute inpatient care facilities.
