DHIN was the first statewide HIE in the nation (Launched May 2007).
DHIN has been financially sustainable since 2012.
Five hospital emergency departments and laboratories send data through DHIN to the Division of Public Health for public health monitoring.
Nearly 100% of labs and radiology tests in Delaware are delivered through DHIN.
All 46 long term care facilities in the state use DHIN in the care of their residents.
Three million unique patients from 50 states are represented in the master patient index.
Three federally qualified health centers (La Red Health Center, Henrietta Johnson Medical Center and Westside Family Health) are among the practices exclusively receiving results via DHIN.
More than 90% of DHIN-enrolled practices which order medical tests receive their clinical results / reports exclusively through DHIN.
